The “Lev Binyamin” non-profit organization was established in 1998 in order to assist in meeting the challenges encountered by 200 children with special needs and their families, living in the35 Jewish communities of the Binyamin Region.
“Lev Binyamin” children suffer from various disabilities, as well as chronic and genetic diseases, such as Down’s and William’s Syndromes; brain damage, paralysis, mental retardation and other disabilities; some of them are terror victims. These children are unable to independently integrate into existing social and educational programs for their age groups within their communities.
The responsibility for caring, advancing and enriching them falls on their parents and families.
“Lev Binyamin” is the only organization in the area that provides special activities and services for these children, bringing a ray of light into their everyday lives.
